Small World 2007 microscopic photography winners

The winners of the Nikon Small World photography contest have been announced. Seen above is the 1st Place winner, "Double transgenic mouse embryo, 18.5 days (17x)," taken by Gloria Kwon of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Institute.
To create the image, she used brightfield, darkfield, and fluorescence (GFP and RFP) microscopy techniques.
