The Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa, Japan, has a fish tank so big that it’s called the Kuroshio Sea. The gigantic tank is 10 m (33 ft) deep, 35 m (115 ft) wide and 27 m (89 ft) long and holds the equivalent of 3 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of water. The tank is so large that not one, but four whale sharks live in it. The Daily Mail has more gorgeous photos of the aquarium exhibit: Link ........................................................................................................................ Swim with whale sharks
People hear the term whale sharks and assume the worst, and why not? Although these fish are the largest on the planet, they are quite docile. Recently, the new trend has been to swim with these fish in tanks, however I highly recommend the whale shark tours offered near Cancun instead. This is because you get to swim with them in their natural environment, so it’s better for the animals. One tour that has offers a 2 in 1 swim with whale sharks and coral reef snorkeling is:

Whichever tour company you decide to go with, just make sure that they display their license number on their website. There are lots of companies that do the tour, but not all are licensed since there is a limited amount made available by the Mexican government. What I liked about these people is that they offer something that is unheard of, a cancellation policy with a money back guarantee.
Happy Snorkeling,
John
